During Air Max Day 2016, Nike introduced the Vote Back campaign, which gave their loyal customer base a chance to vote for a classic Air Max model most worthy of a retro release. With the winner slated to release during Air Max Day 2017, it was announced that the iconic atmos x Nike Air Max 1 would make its triumphant return. Originally released back in 2003, the retro is just as head-turning thanks to the main draw: crisp elephant print that appears along the mudguard panelling and ankle. Premium black suede covers the side panel and ankle. And last, but not least, the Swoosh and Nike branding are colored in a vibrant Clear Jade hue to complete the look.
