The Teddy Santis x New Balance 990 V2 is one of several styles from the acclaimed footwear and fashion designer's first-ever “Made in the USA” collection. The partnership between Santis - the founder and lead designer of Aime Leon Dore - was announced in 2021 and made a reality in April 2022. Here, the sneaker features hairy gray suede overlays atop an olive green mesh base while a tan suede overlay is found on the heel. Talking about the details, a reflective 'N' logo is located on both sides of the shoe, 'USA' branding appears on the heel and '990 ' and 'Made in the USA' detailing is embroidered in white on the dark gray suede tongue. Underneath, the cream-coloured rubber midsole gives the shoe a vintage look.
